What we store

PlanSmartUS does not have user accounts and does not ask for personal information to browse plans. Our web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, page requested, date, user agent) for security and traffic measurement. These logs are kept for a limited period and are not combined with any other data.

The only information stored in your browser is your advertising choice, kept in local storage under the key ps-consent. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings, which resets the consent banner.

If you use the contact form, we store your name, email address, the subject, your message and the date. We never publish it and we do not share it. To limit spam we also store a salted hash of your IP address, used only to count how many messages one connection sends in an hour — the address itself is never written to the database. Messages are deleted once the request is answered.

Cookies and advertising

The site is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense to display ads, and the AdSense script is loaded only after you accept advertising. If you choose to continue without ads, no advertising script runs and no advertising cookie is set.

When advertising is accepted, Google and its partners may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalised advertising based on your previous visits to this or other websites. You can review or change Google's ad settings at myadcenter.google.com, and opt out of personalised advertising from other vendors through optout.aboutads.info. Blocking advertising cookies does not affect the prices or rankings you see.

Links to provider websites

We have no affiliate agreement with the operators listed: a link to a provider website is a plain reference, we receive nothing if you sign up through it, and it carries a nofollow attribute. Once you leave PlanSmartUS, the destination site applies its own cookies and its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, to object to processing, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information. Requests can be sent to the contact page and are answered within 30 days.

Children

The site is intended for people shopping for a phone plan and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is stored or who receives data, the update date above changes and the consent banner is shown again. Questions go to the contact page, or see the contact page.
